FIMED BENIN, operating under the brand Fruitssecs, takes your personal data protection seriously. This policy explains which data is processed on fruitssecs.bj, why it is processed, and how to exercise your rights.

2. Data collected

Depending on how you use the site, we may process the following data:

• Customer account: name, email address, hashed password.
• Order: products ordered, prices, status, order history, optional delivery address.
• Kkiapay payment: name, email and transaction ID required to initialize and verify payment.
• Product reviews: rating and comments posted by an authenticated user.
• Contact: name, email, subject, and message sent to the shop.
• AI assistant, if enabled: messages temporarily sent to a configured AI provider without storage in the shop database.
• Account deletion request: date of deletion request.

3. Purposes

This data is used to create and secure your account, process your orders, verify payments, respond to contact requests, display product reviews, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, accounting and commercial obligations.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed via Kkiapay. The payment widget receives the information needed for the transaction, then the transaction is verified server-side.

For manual Momopay USSD, the site only displays instructions. The transfer is initiated by you from your phone, outside the site; no personal data is transmitted by fruitssecs.bj for this method.

5. Retention period

Account data is kept while the account is active. If deleted from My account, the account is immediately deactivated and personal data is anonymized after 12 months. Orders are retained in anonymized form when necessary for legal, commercial or accounting obligations.

6. Cookies

The site uses only Laravel-required cookies, including session and CSRF protection cookies. No analytics, advertising, or marketing personalization cookies are deployed by default.

7. Data sharing

Your data is not sold. It may be processed by our strictly necessary technical providers, including hosting, email, Kkiapay and, if the AI assistant is enabled, the configured AI provider.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Account deletion is available from My account → Delete my account. You can also contact us at contact@fruitssecs.bj.

9. Security

Passwords are hashed and the application applies reasonable security measures to limit unauthorized access to data.
